"Grass grows, birds fly, sun shines, and brother... I hurt people."
The Scout is a brash runt from Boston with a penchant for baseball, grievous bodily harm and running. His speed and ability to double jump will leave slower opponents struggling to keep up. This, coupled with his Scattergun, makes the Scout ideal for hit-and-run tactics, allowing him to inflict massive close-range damage before dashing away to safety. The Scout can also equip his trusty Sandman to stun opponents with long-range baseballs. A simple act of sipping from his Bonk! Atomic Punch enables him to make a clean getaway without taking any form of damage, or partaking in another flavour such as Crit-a-Cola to take out unaware opponents in seconds.
— The Scout on the facts of life
The Scout is an ideal choice to complete an objective quickly, as he can capture control points and push carts twice as fast as any other class. With the Scout's petite stature and nimble feet, he has a knack for harassing opponents to the point of annoyance. The addition of Mad Milk and the Fan O'War has given him a larger role, as he can provide additional support to the team. The Scout is voiced by Nathan Vetterlain.
Role in Moments with HeavyEditScout is a recurring character, and not entirely an antagonist. The only time he was a semi-"antagonist" was when he ran away with the Crit-Sandvich (later losing it during his fall into a pond). He is mostly mean-spirited in Heavy Goes Bowling, but in Jack Johnson Says Hi!, he does share a laugh with Blue Heavy.
"The youngest of eight boys from the south side of Boston, the Scout learned early how to solve problems with his fists. With seven older brothers on his side, fights tended to end before the runt of the litter could maneuver into punching distance, so the Scout trained himself to run. He ran everywhere, all the time, until he could beat his pack of mad dog siblings to the fray."
